Sourced from Périgord Noir in France, our Caviar Perle Noir eggs have been meticulously produced using ancient traditional techniques and expert skills. Taken from the Oncorhynchus mykiss (rainbow trout), the eggs are collected every December when the fish reach one to two years old. Once collected, the delicate orange eggs are lightly salted and pasteurised, and bottled to preserve their exceptional freshness. Delivering a satisfying pop against the palate, they’re perfect for creating delicate appetisers and sophisticated seafood recipes that make every occasion seem extra special. Weighing approximately 80g, each pasteurised jar has a shelf life of six months. Completely safe for those who are pregnant.
